Letitia Clark is a proven leader, longtime Tustin resident, and proud mom who has dedicated her career to making our city stronger, safer, and more connected. She served as Mayor during one of the most difficult times in Tustin’s history — the COVID-19 pandemic — where she protected families, kept small businesses afloat, and ensured frontline workers had the support they needed. Under her leadership, Tustin showed what it means to come together in a time of crisis.
On the City Council from 2016 to 2024, Letitia built a record of results that continues to impact residents today. She championed Girls in Government and Lemonade Day, two programs that empower young people with leadership and entrepreneurship skills. She created the Mayor’s Faith & Community Leaders Coalition to bring nonprofits, pastors, and civic leaders into regular conversation with City Hall. She also worked to make local government more open and transparent — launching live-streamed council meetings, Zoom participation, and the Engage Tustin app, which allows residents to easily report issues like potholes and graffiti from their phones.
Letitia also took action to meet Tustin’s housing and growth needs. She supported zoning and permitting reforms that made it easier to build smart, balanced development, and during her tenure, more than 2,100 new homes were approved in Tustin Legacy neighborhoods. She worked to attract local businesses, expand parks, and invest in amenities that improve quality of life.
Outside of city government, Letitia serves as a Chief Communications Officer for a community college district, where she advocates for education, workforce development, and housing at the local, state, and federal levels. She has been nationally recognized for her leadership and is the author of two books about balancing motherhood and public service.
Letitia is a graduate of Tustin High School, where her own children have also attended. She lives in Tustin Ranch with her husband and three kids. With her experience, vision, and record of delivering for families, Letitia is the best choice to unite Tustin and lead our city into the future.
